I am assuming that this ashtray comes off the 3rd Orcades launched in 1948 and scrapped in 1973. This vessel was 280472 tons and sailed under the Orient Lines Flag until 1962 when it was transferred to P & O LINES ownership due to the buy out of Orient Lines. The ashtray has a diameter of 5 1/2 inches and is in excellent overall condition.
