    A nice piece of Bakelite in the form of a bowl used to hold FAULDING Shaving Creme. I got this in Australia so I suppose the brand is an Australian one. Condition Excellent. Could date anywhere from around the 1930's to early 50's I 'd think.

  • English Art Nouveau Leather Pocket Card Holder Circa 1900 - 1910
    Sweet little Edwardian Era Art Nouveau decorated Leather Card Case or Pocket Wallet. Measures 4 3/4" x 3" and 8 3/4" x 4 3/4" when opened out. Note brass corner protectors and impressed Art Nouveau designs. Some wear to leather as per our pics but a very sweet memento of the fame Art Nouveau Period. "Cheap as Chips" piece of Nouveau for the Collector!

    A lovely old Japanese Paper Fan measuring 141/2" in length including handle and with a diameter of 9 1/4". Handle is of lacquered wood. This one is missing a couple of bits around the edges but is still a great example of Japanese FAN ART... believed to date to around 1930.

Big Pre Xmas issue magazine 13 1/2" x 10 3/4" of 246 pages and in very good condition for it's 66 year of age! Far too may Fab Ads to be able to include them all.......Great for studying fashions, décor, appliances, foods, appliances, and consumables in general. We have about 20 or so of these from this period plus other titles as well....just ASK ! Adverts include REVLON, MAIDENFORM, VANITY FAIR.

  • Blackpool Souvenir Art Deco Cigarette Case 1930's
    A great old DECO Cigarette Case picturing Blackpool Beach & Promenade on the front and a rural pic on other...note the wonderful Art Deco house shown in this shot. The case is metal with celluloid protective outer over the cover pictures. It measures 4 1/8" x 3 1/2" and general condition is good but with some minor spotting on pics as shown.

  • Vintage Spectacles
    These could be late Victorian to early 1900's...hard to say. The fittings show no tarnishing at all so assume they are in fact Gold and silver.....gold on the nose frame and silver for the arms. There is a shallow chip on the right eye lens. The magnification is shown on the inside of the gold nose frame as 1/10 10. These fit me so should suit most adults. Width across arm tip to arm tip is 4.5". Lens are 1 .5" deep and 1 3/4" wide. Bridge gap is approx 3/4".Nice little case in reasonable condition.

    Fashioned in brass with beautiful Art Nouveau design this really is a nice piece of Victoriana. Made to contain a set of three scissors it is lined in red baize material and although missing the exterior fastener it is in great overall condition. Measures 6 1/4" in length and 2 1/2' at widest point. A lovely and unusual dressing table decorative piece.

  • A Superb Irish Silver
    A stunning small ( 2 1/4" diameter) ladies Powder Compact with a lovely engraving to the lid of David''s Tower in Jerusalem. There is a monogram R.MCW on the lid also. No interior contents. There is a marking to base....L.G. 833 which according to our research is the Maker/Silversmith...Larry Gunning (1917-2009 ) of Gunning & Co, Dublin, Ireland. The 833 is the Silver Grade. Probable dating 1950's. Tourist piece.

  • Edwardian Period Nickle Plated Coin Holder J.W.B.Patent
    This is a large one of these holders measuring 2 3/4" x 2 1/8". It has sprung slots for 3d, 6d, 1Shilling, 2 Shillings, and 2 /6d. Very nice Art Nouveau engraved pattern and plating is in very good condition. Has the JWB SHIELD on back.
