    THE MILLION Newspaper was a Victorian Era newspaper Edited By GEO. NEWNES and published weekly. The paper is on good quality newsprint and the print quality is excellent....many of the illustrations are from engravings...probably wood cuts, so the definition is very good and the colouring is also well done. The paper size is 17" x 11 3/4".There is also printing on reverse. A Full Page from the August 13th 1892 Edition...' THE PLACE TO SPEND A HAPPY DAY. AT ROSHERVILLE - A BANK HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE.   • 5 Dong - SPECIAL FORCES 1966 Captured NLF Note, Vietnam War
    A Rare Note....Serial Number as shown...EXCELLENT GRAPHICS. These Notes were printed in China for use in South Vietnamese territories under control of the National Liberation Front (Viet Cong). They were never issued as the majority of notes were captured during a joint US / South Vietnam covert military operation into Cambodia in 1970. Relatively few of these notes have remained as were all meant to be destroyed.

  • The Yorkshire Penny Bank King GEORGE V Commemorative Pass Book 1935
    According to the info on the inner front cover "accounts were opened for each child enrolled in Elementary Schools of the West Riding of Yorkshire with a deposit of one shilling as a gift from the Chairman of the County Council and his friends.The deposit and Pass Book commemorated the Silver Jubilee of His Most Gracious Majesty KING GEORGE V. As pictured the book is 'sound' but a bit grubby with some fold marks....still it is a very interesting piece of Yorkshire Banking history and Royalty Memorabilia.
