T.S.S Strathaird - Orient Line -Butterfly Wings Souvenir Ashtray

A lovely little chromed ashtray with a depiction of the ship in the bowl which is done beautifully using BUTTERFLY WINGS. The ashtray is 3 3/4" x 3 1/2" in size. This ashtray is probably circa 1950. The Strathaird was a ORIENT LINE - P & O LINES Passenger vessel of 22547 tons launched in 1932 at Barrow. She was opulently fitted-out and carried 1168 passengers. Scrapped in Hong Kong in 1962.
