This looks like it could me more from the New Guinea region but I really have no real knowledge of the origin. This is definitely an older mask...not one of the cheap touristy ones...has a good age feel with great patina..the wood has the waxy aged feel to it. This mask is 16" x 14" and is in great condition. A great bargain for someone "in the know".
