Victorian Brass Door Knocker

A nice refined Georgian style brass Door Knocker....no makers mark but there is a serial number imprinted to back. Measures 6 3/4" in length and 3 1/4" in width. Probably made in the late 1800's in the Georgian style I 'd say but certainly a genuine old piece. A previous owner has coated the knocker in lacquer for protection but we can remove this and polish-up the brass for the new owner.
