BOYS Own Paper Annual XIV - 1891-1892

A bound Annual volume of weekly issues of the BOYS OWN PAPER from october 3 1891 to Sept.24 1892. The Boys Own Paper is 11.5" x 8" in size and has many, many illustrations, including some wonderful full colour and half-tone full pages and great 'fold-outs". There are many Short Stories and also many "how to make it" articles...really interesting what they did over 124 years ago! Just too much to show it all!The cover is virtually detached from the book...I have not re-glued as the buyer may well want to take the volume apart....if not then a simple glue-job will put it all together again.There is a water stain at the base of the first 10 odd pages but in general this is a superb edition with only minor flaws and it is free of age spotting and browning. Individual copies of THE BOYS OWN usually sell for around $15-20 so for 50 plus copies this is very good buying. A fascinating insight into life in the early 1890"s.
