This is a 66 page Special Illustrated London News ROYAL WEDDING NUMBER Dated July 27 1885 commemorating the Wedding of Queen Victoria's Daughter, Princess Beatrice, to Prince Henry of Battenberg, on July 23rd 1885. The page size is 15.5" x 12" and whilst there is some minor spotting & staining this large Special Number is in remarkably great condition for a paper article of close to 125 years of age. At this time The ILLUSTRATED LONDON NEWS was published using wood cut engravings so the clarity and definition of the enormous amount of illustrations contained in this Special Number really is superb. There are many full page illustrations, and some Double Page Spreads, all well worth framing. A super item for collectors of Royalty memorabilia.
