REACH Tennis Racquet Model 'NEWPORT' Circa 1919

This Reach Circa 1919 Racquet was made in USA and the model is NEWPORT. The NEWPORT has original gut strings (broken as per photo). These old racquet's did not have leather grips but the wood was grooved and they had a small leather collar (missing) at the butt of the racquet. The NEWPORT name is on one side of racquet shown in photo and is undamaged.... the Reach brand logo is shown on the racquet throat on the opposite side.The frame itself is not warped and pretty good condition as shown in photo. These vintage racquets are now scarce and ideal for collector, tennis clubs, theme restaurants, or museums.
