Antique Papua New Guinea Adz Circa 1920

This is a beauty....a very old genuine native adz which we believe is almost certainly from Papua New Guinea. You see a lot of "souvenir' adze items around but very few genuine old ones like this. Items age very quickly in the heat and humidity of New Guinea but this piece looks to be genuinely early 1900's. The handle measures 20' in length and from the handle tip to bottom of adze stone is 12"
