VICTORIAN Era Chemists Pill Making Machine.....Military Issue
A Mahogany & Brass Pill Maker dating to around 1890 - 1900 in excellent condition for age. This one has the military Broad Arrow impressed into the wood. The previous owner is a qualified Pharmacist who obtained this piece when he attended the The Army School of Dispensing at Aldershot, England, when doing his Compulsory Military Training in the early 1950's. The board measures 12 1/2" in length, 7 3/4" in width and the handle is 18 1/4" wide. The maker is MAW & Co of London. Great pharmacy collectible.
