Royal Worcester PARAKEET Figurine By F.G. Doughty

Lovely little Figurine titled PARAKEET standing 6 3/4" tall and in perfect condition. This beautiful piece was originally modelled by the Royal Worcester designer Freda Doughty in 1935 and was produced until 1980. Doughty was one of the company's most prolific designers and created over 100 models during her employment with the company. Many of these were actually based on children who used to play in the garden of her home in the Kent countryside. This one dates to early 1950's or prior.
